iMENA Group is proud to announce that four of its companies were selected by the World Economic Forum among the 100 start-ups shaping the 4th Industrial Revolution in MENA region in 2017.
This selection is a recognition of the Group’s strategy of building and nurturing the online ecosystem by unlocking a strategic and operational platform for locally-bred businesses to strive and grow across continents becoming international leaders in their respective fields.
The four companies selected span an array of online businesses. These are: OpenSooq: the mobile classifieds leader, ReserveOut: the leading restaurants reservations and SaaS solution technology provider; JRD Group: the end-to-end real estate technology regional market leader; SellAnyCar: the undisputed automotive marketplace leader.
The World Economic Forum, held in partnership with the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD), between the 19th and the 21st of May, in the Dead Sea, Jordan, has welcomed over 1,000 leaders in fields varying between government, business and civil society. These leaders gathered from more than 50 Arab countries to reflect on the central role of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the region. The forum was supported by Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah, as well as the Government of Jordan.
